Any forms you have filled in when you first requested our services are only used to provide the requested service.
Forms are kept in a folder for any current customers so they are accessible for emergency use, this folder has limited access for me, my team or emergency cover, they are kept in a secure house. Forms for pending and past customers are stored in an archive box with limited access for me and my team in a secure house. We will only share the details of these forms in the following situations: Veterinary Care -if we needed to take your pet(s) to the vet, in which case we would have to provide some details to ensure you pet(s) get the care they require. Emergency Cover– my emergency cover to ensure your pet(s) get cared for in the event of us not being able to complete service(s), Lichfield District council – Home boarding inspection and audit or if demanded by police or government department.
Your telephone number are stored on the mobile phone with only your name and you pets name and a photo of your pet. The mobile phone is code locked which only me and my team can access.
Any photos taken of your pets are only shared on social media and our website with your permission only.
Any keys which we hold are kept in a secure key safe and are only labelled with your first name and your pets name. Only when providing a service are they taken out and carried by the person assigned to complete the service.
No data is saved on the laptop apart from previous invoices sent via email however the laptop and email accounts involved are password protected. All other digital data (inclusive of invoices) are stored on a separate encrypted USB stick and all excel documents are password protected.
Your email addresses are stored with your unique reference number in the contacts of the business email accounts.
When someone visits https://absolute-petcare.co.uk we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not, and do not allow Google to make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. The website uses cookies which are not used for marketing purposes, these are deleted automatically after 30 days. The website contains links to other websites after leaving our site we do not accept any responsibility for their private policy’s.
We use Twitter, Facebook and Flickr platforms to inform current and new customers about our services, all customers opt into these by liking, or following these in no way impact our service if not used. We are not responsible for these platforms private policy.
You are entitled to view, amend or delete the personal details that we hold. Email your request to Miss Lucy Oughton at lucy@absolute-petcare.co.uk and this will be completed within 24hrs of the request.
If you no longer want to receive any further communication from us: (this would include your Christmas card with 10% off for the following year and your pets Christmas present; provided to customers who have used our services in the past 12 months.) please contact us on the above email and remove us from any social media list (if applicable).
